Overview

TwinLens ("the App") helps you record picture-in-picture videos using both front and rear cameras simultaneously, with synchronized audio capture and export to your photo library. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data the App accesses

With your permission, the App accesses the following:

1. Camera

• The App uses front and rear cameras simultaneously to record picture-in-picture video
• Camera access is only active while recording
• All video data is processed and stored locally on your device

2. Microphone

• The App records synchronized audio during video capture
• Audio is captured only while you are actively recording
• All audio data is stored locally on your device

3. Photo Library (Write Access)

• The App exports recorded videos and audio to your photo library at your request
• The App does NOT read or access your existing photos or videos
• Exported files are managed through your device's photo library

4. App Settings and Preferences

• Language preference (English, Chinese, German, Spanish, French)
• Camera flip preference
• Mute setting for recording

The App does NOT require an account, registration, or login.

How the App uses data

• The App uses camera and microphone only to record videos that you explicitly initiate
• Local processing: All video recording, audio capture, and file management happens locally on your device
• Recording history: The App stores a local record of recordings for playback and management
• Export: Videos are exported to your photo library only when you explicitly choose to do so

Data sharing and transfers

Data storage and deletion

• Recorded videos and audio: Stored locally on your device. Delete recordings within the App or from your photo library.
• Recording history: Stored locally for playback and management. Can be cleared via the App's clear all button.
• App settings: All preferences are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes all data.

Permissions

Third-party services

• No third-party SDKs — The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services
• No crash reporting — The App does not use third-party crash reporting services
• No network requests — The App works entirely offline with no server connections

Data security

• All data processing happens locally on your device
• No data is transmitted over the internet — the App has no network functionality
• Recorded files are stored in your device's local storage and photo library
• The App follows platform security best practices for camera and microphone access

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your rights

• Access: You can view all recordings within the App and exported files in your photo library
• Deletion: You can delete recordings via the App or remove exported files from your photo library
• Opt-out: You can uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling removes all local app data. Exported files in your photo library remain unless you delete them.

Compliance

• GDPR: The App does not collect or transfer personal data, thus GDPR data transfer requirements do not apply
• CCPA: The App does not sell personal information
